So I finally talked Dan into taking a picnic to the park, I'm not sure why he objects to doing this. While Dan helped the neighbors load their moving truck, I made our lunch. We decided to stay close to home, so we went to the water wheel park here in Washington. The park is really nice, there's a little ditch/stream of water for the kids to play in, plenty of shade trees and of course the playground. Lucas objected very loudly to eating his lunch, he would've rather played on the playground. We finally let him carry around his sandwich and drink while he inspected all of the ants and other bugs.
Dan thought he'd be able to take a little snooze, but Averi and Lucas had other plans. The playground was calling their names!!! All in all, it was a great day. Something we definitley need to do more of, and take advantage of the weather here in Southern Utah. We can't wait for the weather to cool down here in the next month or so. Here's a few more pictures of our day:

So of course we aren't cool enough to know about your blog. I found it on Mindee's blog. So what is new long lost friends? Are we ever going to get together or what?
