This deserved its own post.
Dan, Averi & I lived in Santa Ana for about a year.
We lived in a rough part of town...next to a gas station that got robbed on a regular basis & around the corner from a halfway house with some pretty scary people.
Those are the negatives.
The good thing about this area was:
*the huge mall down the street.
*Mexican grocery store that Rex & Lorie dragged me too & I ended up loving. :)
*the Roach Coach!
Of course it's not really called the Roach Coach, not sure who it was that named it that.
But they have the BEST carne asada tacos...& for only a $1.
This was a must stop on our trip...Dan's only request!
Dan is a happy man!
