It was Dr. Seuss's birthday this week.
In celebration, the school dedicated a "CrAzY" day!
Crazy: socks, hat, hair, etc...
This is what we came up with...
I didn't have much time to do it, so the ends are curled...but I think it made the cut.
At the end of the week, the 2nd graders had a "read-a-thon".
Can you remember those?
That was & will always be one of the funnest memories I had of elementary school.
Averi took her pillow, a few books including the almost finished Spiderwick series, & snacks.
She had a blast!
She is quickly learning to love reading...takes after her mom!
Her teacher told me this past week that she is one of her best readers! :)
